MARK BRIGGS
MARK BRIGGS is the California Democratic Party Executive Board delegate from the 16th Assembly District. His political activism has led him to volunteer with local, state and national campaigns putting shoe leather to the pavement to promote progressive Democratic candidates and issues. A native Californian who lives in Alameda, Mark attended public schools, Sacramento City College, UC Santa Cruz, and San Francisco State University. During more than 10 years of active duty
with the US Navy, Mark was awarded the Naval Air Medal for 29 combat missions during Operation Desert Storm.
